Grand Hôtel Niort Centre

I booked a room suitable for a person with mobility problems. Sure enough my room was large with a wet room, high bed and plenty of space. It had an entrance to a courtyard and was on the ground floor. However it stopped short of being clinical which was good. The Wi-Fi was efficient. It seemed newly painted and very clean. There was a variety of restaurants and bars in the street and many more just a short walk away. Staff were pleasant. Even though there was no English spoken by staff and all the French I learned has been forgotten we managed to communicate with a smile. The surrounding area was very green with a park to walk in.

Great location very close to the centre of Niort in a quiet main street. Friendly, very helpful staff. Margie was excellent on breakfast/ front desk duties. The hotel manager was very helpful and provided a lot of assistance and support for us as newcomers to Niort. Breakfast very well presented in a lovely dining area with access to a delightful garden. Parking facilities very convenient. We really had a very comortable sray, thank you!

It is in a good position reasonably close to the town and amenities , secure off road parking (10€,per night )large clean room , daily serviced room ,very comfy bed with A/C .The continental breakfast was good with lots of choice , The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke good English good Wi-Fi.

Staff were particularly friendly and helpful, especially Margie and Vanda. Perfect location, just a few minutes from most restaurants and a short walk from the Donjon, market hall and mediatheque.

Spacious comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast with a wide range of foods. Great value. Secure bicycle parking. The receptionists Vanda and Margie were outstanding, both being very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to be of assistance.
